About

Beliefs & Values

I believe that in order for healing work to be effective, the practitioner must be fully and deeply engaged with their own process and that this is a life-long, never-ending path. My own personal journey through navigating my own healing is the foundation from which I support others.

I believe that all beings are connected to a deeper wisdom within themselves and that healing occurs in spaces that optimize the potential to access and connect with this inner wisdom.

My role as a practitioner is to create the most optimal space possible for this connection through presence, witnessing, reflection, and authentic connection.

Bio

I am a therapist and educator with expertise in MDMA-Assisted Therapy, ketamine-assisted therapy, psychedelic risk reduction, and psychedelic professional development.

I am the co-founder and Lead of Strategic Development at Memoru Center for Visionary Healing Arts, an organization focused on bringing psychedelic-assisted care and training to underserved populations.

I have worked at the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) beginning in 2013 where I have held multiple roles including Harm Reduction Officer and Director of Harm Reduction, overseeing the work of the Zendo Project.

From 2015-2023, I served as an Investigator for MAPS Public Benefit Corporation Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical trials researching the safety and efficacy of MDMA-Assisted Therapy for PTSD.

I work at Lykos Therapeutics (formerly MAPS PBC) as a Lead Educator and Associate Supervisor. I am the Lead Facilitator and founding Course Director for the Integrative Psychiatry Institute’s Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Training.

I serve as an advisor and consultant for multiple organizations in the psychedelic space including the Zendo Project, DanceSafe, and Beckley Clinical.

Over the past 13 years, I have helped to train thousands of individuals on the topics of psychedelic-assisted therapy, psychedelic peer support, and personal and professional development in the psychedelic field.

I believe in the potential of psychedelics as catalysts for individual, community, and collective healing.

I come from mixed white/hispanic ancestry and was raised in Northern New Mexico where my ancestors have lived for over 20 generations. Central to my own healing journey has been my connection to land and the natural world, which is my greatest teacher. I have held a personal relationship with psychedelics for over 25 years and they have supported me in navigating my own personal and transgenerational trauma.
